This is a really inspiring song!
Perfect Day
Yesterday was the most perfect day ever!
My best friend and I had a total blast! We went to so many beautiful places...it was more than perfect. Like constantly in touch with nature...there were mountains, large green stretching fields of sugar canes, and then we went to the picturesque white sandy beach with the crystal clear turquoise water...and then to another sea which was surrounded by rocks...we could see the water stretch out for miles and miles as though we were standing completely at the edge of the world.
It was simply breathtaking!
You know, in that marvelous movie, A Walk to Remember, there is a part where Jamie tells Landon: "How can you see places like this...and not believe?"
Yesterday i realized how true that saying was. Plus, seeing those wonderful, wonderful, wonderful sights, i was simply basking in the delight to be living in such a beautiful country. Everything was simply unbelievably gorgeous- including the magnificent sunset we were treated to on the way back home. That was the perfect end to the perfect day.
Things and sights like this are what make me feel more patriotic about my country. And believe me, that's saying a lot; coming from someone who has never been particularly patriotic before! ;p
I forgot to mention that we stopped by a farm and my best friend and I got to see cows! We stroked them a bit and made the Ladies pose for pictures with us! Lol
Added bonus to the perfect day? Well, i got to wear my short skirt! And got some amazing pictures!!

Phew
snif snif snif....
i just came back from more than 3 hours of shopping and trying on clothes and rejecting them! I just could not find the perfect outfit, i could not find THE ONE!! The one outfit which would make me fall heads over heels in love with it at first sight!
BUT
disasters of disasters, after a billion trips to the trying room, i was not satisfied. One was too short, the other too long, ugly color, too tight, too large, awful cut...the list of faults was endless!!! sigh sigh sigh
what am i going to do?? What am i going to wear????
One glimmer of hope is the bikini i saw in a swim wear shop. For extra glamor, i could wear the bikini top with a short flowery skirt...hmmm...not a bad idea!!!! and maybe i could throw along a fluttery bolero on the top.....hhhhhhhhhhmmmmm....gotta think about this....
My second option is the never dying sarong! I simply have to wrap myself in the piece of cloth and voila! Instant beach outfit!
Well, better search the net for ways of tying sarongs hahaha
I also need new sunglasses and a beach hat! wouldn't want to get sunburned!

I NEED A NEW MINI SKIRT!!!
Going to the beach with my best friend this sunday and i need a mini skirt!!! seems like another shopping expedition is in sight!
i want everything to be peeeerfect on sunday- T will b leaving real soon to go to uni and am gonna miss her tons. so i want to make the most outta every moment together...starting from my brand new skirt lol!

There are times in life when, if you get lucky, you meet people with those really angel-like and really good hearts. Despite their faults and bad side, these people are the unique ones who keep kindness, generosity and selflessness alive. I really really consider myself lucky to have been blessed with knowing two such people in my life. One of them is my best friend and the one i can talk for hours and hours about nothing and everything. I love that person to pieces!! That person means the world to me and changed me for the better. I really feel extremely lucky to have somebody like that in my life!!!
The other special person is somebody i hurt a lot, I emotionally robbed her of everything, i made her cry, i made her sad and i was cruel and spiteful to her. Those were the days where i was really a nasty piece of work.
But today when i need her, she immediately materializes by my side. This is a true friend- the living embodiment that love and kindness do exist in this world.
I am ever so grateful for second chances and you know what? knowing such people made me realize that more persons, including me, should try and be more kind and selfless. You never know wen a simple act of kindness can change a person's life.
My friend who came back to help and support me after i hurt her so bad is one of the reasons why i am grateful and feel blessed.
And my best friend...well, that person will forever form part of my life, no matter what happens. I will never forget the joy this friendship brought to me. Despite everything, our friendship is still going on strong and i will forever love him!!!
Thank you my best friend, for all the joy you bought into my life.
And thanks to you, that unique person who never turned her back on me, despite what i did to you.

Sleepy morning!!
Yaaaaay!!!
I woke up extra early this morning to go to university, when one of my friends texted me to say that the lecture has been canceled!! do you know that completely glorious feeling you get when you're all ready to go and sit through a whole three hours of boring lecture when out of the blue comes the words you've been craving to hear:
NO LECTURE TODAY!!!
So i changed into something comfy and settled back in bed with a good Danielle Steel book n an apple and was in total bliss! Am not much of a morning person, let me tell you this! :-) so getting up early to go to class is quite a horrible experience for me!
Now i got a whoooole day ahead of me to do whatever i want to...i could maybe catch up on some revision, watch a couple of those DVDs i bought yesterday and tonight am going swimming with my best friend!
Aaaahhh...that's life

Shopping Theraphy! lolz
I'm a hopeless shopalcolic! Whenever I feel down or depressed, i just grab my purse and hit the shops! Aaaahhh...nothing more soothing than some good old shopping to soothe a girl's spirits!
No seriously, i can just spend and spend and spend on useless petty things which i wont even use but i need to shop! It's like an impulsive habit!
And it's fun and it burns hoards of calories in one go ;p
Today for instance, i went out with no particular plans in mind (well, yes, i thought i might do some shopping lol). In the end, i bought a tiny teddy bear like thing for my mobile, and saw another more glittery mobile charm afterwards; so i bought the other one also...hmmm...i think i bought a few movies (to increase my ever growing dvd collection), and since i wanted to spend some more money, i ended up buying...apples!! hahahaha. Well, it's a good healthy snack for a girl! :-)
The other day i also blew all my money on clothes which i ended up not wearing- i just love buying clothes!! they are so refreshing to the mind!!!
By the time i reached home, my brand new handbag (yes, i collect handbags as well!) was bursting full!
Ooooh, that reminds me....i could use another handbag ;p
